I've been to the Academy Awards and it's boring. Painfully boring.

I'm process-orientated. Awards, by their nature, are results-orientated.

[Dave Barry, who wrote jokes for Martin's Oscar-hosting gig two years ago, mentioned that he performed his Academy Awards monologue with his fly open.] And, ... I think it says something about Steve as a performer, and as a man, that no one noticed.

Ideally our goal is to increase the number of scholarships offered while also increasing the dollar amount of the awards.

You have to win the district and regional Coach of the Year awards to get to here. It's nice to be recognized by the coaches you work with all year, but I'm where I'm at right now because of the strong support group I have in this program. One person doesn't do what we're doing, it takes a lot of dedicated people.

The older you get, the more awards you get. So, if you live long enough, then you get all the awards eventually.
