I've had great success with the program, especially with absentee landlords. They've hired landscapers and are really keeping their properties clean.

We shifted because we didn't want them sold off individually. Then we could end up with absentee landlords.

That's one thing we talk about, talk about, and talk about -- keeping your composure. Especially in matches like this, where there's a lot going on in the stands, or you might not get a call, or whatever. You've got to play through those things.

I thought we played really well, especially in the first game. We did a good job of keeping the ball in play; most of our hits were in, making them play the ball; and we blocked well. It's only our third match, but it's definitely the best we've blocked so far.

The problem was some people knew the process. When they'd get the courtesy notice, they'd know they had more notices coming and more time. Now, I include a flier with the initial notice that states how the program works, the reasons it was started and that this would be the one and only warning.

Of the 200 notices of violations sent out since May 2005, only 20 have received citations. The rest complied.
