JR is in great spirits it's just something that we're just going to have to let heal. It happened where he just planted the wrong way and it just cracked on him.

You've just got to let it heal, ... It's been so swollen after I messed it up. You've got to let the swelling go down, and now it's feeling better.

Punishment cannot heal spirits, can only break them.

We've got to let the ribs heal. He's got to feel like he can run and those things. The area that now is rather large causing him discomfort has to shrink, so (doctors) can put the medicine in where they have to put it in. Right now, it's too large. But he's on schedule; he's getting better.

Now we just have to let the bone heal itself and quit irritating it on a daily basis, ... Before I got off the mound, it felt great. The bones constantly rubbing on each other, it didn't give it time to heal.

That was something that I probably did wrong last year. I should have let the injury heal completely 100 percent. I just wanted to be there, and instead of helping the team, I was hurting the team. You learn from that.
