Jackson thanked Claypool for backing the airport, but he did not endorse him. He is neutral in the county board president race.

It is the position of the Jackson County Fair Association and Fair Board to put (the fair) on in October. It won't be as large as in the past.

If it is outside of the airport footprint, we don't have a problem with it. In fact, we think it is a good idea.

If Mr. Davis thinks it is responsible for that board in Halifax County to ignore all the statutes that govern what it is that they're supposed to do, then that is his opinion. The conduct of the local board of health and its employees in this case, regarding Lady Kitchin, is just about as asinine as that comment about what this case is about.

I was surprised that Pima County was unaware of this because they are represented on the board.
