Jamie was one of the best as a fifth grader. It's been really fun to see him develop ---- not only as a player, but as a person. I've been (working) with him a long time now and he's really grown.

We play in one of the toughest leagues in San Diego. You just don't get a breather in this league.

You just never know what's going to happen in high school golf. But we have high expectations.

We typically do a large outdoor release party in the spring, but seeing as this year we changed things up and are doing two books, a fall and a spring, we will be having a small release party in the open space on the second floor of the Student Center [from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.].

I'm very competitive, but I know when not to be competitive. I know how to have fun, but I know when it's time to get serious. That makes things a lot easier.
