Ruth Ann will be a hard act to follow, and we wish her the best as she enters a new chapter of her life. However, we are fortunate to be able to bring back Walt, who has a wealth of exceptional experience and a track record of achievement in the payment cards industry. I have no doubt he will continue to build on the strong foundation Ruth Ann created, and deliver on our commitment to bring our customers innovative products and value-added services to help them enhance the profitability of their payments businesses.

Javier has a proven track record of success, and I am confident that he will be a strong leader for Europe during this critical period. Under his leadership, Latin America has achieved significant growth. As head of the European Customer Group, he was instrumental in driving Europe's adoption of MasterCard's customer-focused strategy, which has set us apart from the competition and provided a platform to demonstrate our ability to deliver truly pan-European, globally competitive payment systems.

MasterCard is proud to be associated with Arnold Palmer, a man who has done so much not just for the game of golf but for the Orlando community. We look forward to many more priceless moments both on the course and at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
