[Jones] should have separated the issues and disagreed with the school board decision, but not rule on ID itself. Intelligent design still needs to be debated and discussed.

It was hard enough making the decision where I wanted to go to school the first time, so to go through it again was really stressful, ... I'm just glad it's over with.

I am compelled to make this proposal on behalf of the voters, who have spoken. While I believe in intelligent design, it is clearly in the best interests of our community to move forward?. There is sufficient reason to revoke this policy and to try and dismiss the case. The original lawsuit has become meaningless.

I mean, he's entitled to his opinion, but I don't think it's appropriate to label all of the people of Dover in that sense. Quite frankly, the Dover CARES people are entitled to their opinions ...

The NAACP stands behind the school board's decision to redistrict. The NAACP feels separate-but-equal has no place in this society. We feel that if parents would let the children go to school together it (the issue) would work itself out.

(The School Board) made the decision to let the administration decide, and I thank them. It is not an easy situation, and it is inevitable. You can't stop change.
