July Fourth means a lot to me as an American, ... It is a patriotic day. It is not particularly about WWII or any war. It just shows a patriotic way of life we really should celebrate not just on Independence Day but every day.

Hopefully one day we'll take over all of the downtown historic district.

It's a day of reckoning. Yesterday we saw huge amounts of aircraft coming in, so on this first day of the new phase of the emergency we have to make sure that everything is coordinated.

If we have a three-day weekend, I'll feel pretty fresh, not smelling of chlorine. Basically, though, I have to be in the pool every day.

"I worked for men," my Lord will say, When we meet at the end of the King's highway; "I walked with the beggar along the road, I kissed the bondsman stung by the goad, I bore my half of the porter's load. And what did you do," my Lord will say, "As you traveled along the King's highway?"

Don't underestimate the power of sport as a way of rehabilitating young people.
