Just a little friendly talk, wishing each other a Merry Christmas. It was no big deal, but if anyone says something to me, then I'm going to say something back.

I'm a big fan of it. It might not be fair, but whoever is in the shootout are guys who can put the puck in the net, so chances are if there was a big goal, one of them might get it anyway.

There's definitely butterflies. It's a big thing. I'd love to play for my country and it would be great to go to the Olympics.

Other teams were starting to close the gap so we got those big two points. Now the guys are going over (to Turin) and are going to play in the Olympics and the other guys are going to get a break and we'll get going again after.

Every game is a tough game here. There is always pressure when you put on a Canadian jersey. You are expected to win.

With the year off, I think most guys were excited to get going, but coming to Ottawa, a new place, made me even more excited.
