Just because today is a rough takeoff, tomorrow will more than likely guarantee to be a smooth landing

The plane did not skid on the runway. This was a smooth landing.

It was a very, very smooth landing. The pilot did an outstanding job. There was a big hallelujah and a lot of clapping on that aircraft.

I come from Detroit where it's rough and I'm not a smooth talker.

It was not skidding off the runway. Actually the landing was smooth, but the pilot had to turn the aircraft at the end of the airstrip to the taxi way because he felt that something went wrong with the aircraft's nose wheel during the landing.

Like the crashing of the waves of the ocean, life has it's in's and out's, vacillating the rough and the smooth tides which simulates the stance of life as we wait for the sun to set, in hope that tomorrow all will be still.
