Kabbalah is all about change. It isn't about being proud of our good qualities: the wisdom is about transforming our darkness into light.

I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won't presume to probe into the faults of others.

Darkness is the only path to light. It is not our wonderful gifts that make us closer to God: it's using our garbage to transform ourselves. This is the key that unlocks the door that opens to God.

Many good qualities are not sufficient to balance a single want - the want of money.

We Germans should know that we're good at constructing cars, and we have a lot of good qualities. But we're not the funniest.

I imagine God to be like my father. My father was always the voice of certainty in my life. Certainty in the wisdom, certainty in the path, certainty always in God. For me God is certainty in everything. Certainty that everything is good and everything is God.
