Kareem has been in so many big games over his career at New London -- both he and Lee Mitchell -- that we rely on those guys to come through for us and lead us down the stretch.

We certainly miss Lee in many ways. He's been involved with (the team) for four years. He has played a prominent role in our state championship success. We miss his leadership.

It's been somewhat of a tumultuous season despite being 21-1 at this point. That's everyday life at New London and we know how to deal with that and move on.

I think everything Joni Mitchell did for music was big.
