Kelsey ran very strong and actually won with the two classes combined. Jessica and Sam, who are in there first year, continue to improve. We have three girls out with injuries and two more that are waiting to get in 10 practices, so hopefully we'll have a competitive team soon.

Whitney beat a girl that ran varsity last week and finished in the top 20, so she ran strong.

They actually give away more upgrades than almost all other airlines combined.

It was a great day for us. We beat a lot of ranked schools from Kentucky. Alex, obviously, ran an outstanding race. He is really coming on right now. Today was the most aggressive I've seen him run.

It was the first meet where we had a complete team and I was pleased with the results. Kelsey just flat tore it up and just coasted the last 1,000 meters. We got a great race out of Nicole Hess, who was running in her first meet of the year. Sam Shepard also ran well. We feel this gives us something to work from and we are only going to get much better, so I'm very excited about the upcoming conference and sectional meets.
