Kids are our business. If we don't do what is right for our children, we are in trouble.

We have to have the children bused to the United Methodist Church. There's no room for tutoring right now.

Some parents really have trouble having their kids know their business. The parents of Baby Boomers, in particular, came through a generation where the father of the house usually did all the finances and the wife or mother may not even know everything, so it's hard to develop that line of communication.

This shortage is not just local, it is statewide and nationally as well.

We are hoping to have at least one candidate from each district for the first class. So, if we could get seven to 10, we would feel really good about it.

Right now a number of children's stores are in progress- Strasburg Children and Abercrombie Kids.
