Kids don't play baseball and football like they used to. Alternative sports are on the upswing.

Look at him and you'd think he's 16. Talk to him and you think he's 26. Talk baseball with him, and you'd think he's 36.

Baseball is what we were, and football is what we have become

I like both sports. It depends on the season. We had a good football season, and the baseball team is playing exceptional.

In football, the games can be just as thrilling, but they stand on their own. A regular-season game in the NFL has almost a playoff feel some weeks.
