Knowing that and looking at our enrollment in our classes and other lifetime sports and activities, we thought that this would be a good addition to what we offer our students.

As space, time and budgets allow, I hope to keep adding and expanding the activity classes that are offered here at Gonzaga University.

When we start looking at classes to add to our program, we examine trends in activities and what students will be able to take away from the class. Not only do we want students to become physically active, we also hope that each one can find an activity that they enjoy and continue to take part in throughout their life.

Everyone thought I was going to die like a year later. They didn't know. So I helped educate sports, and then the world, that a man living with HIV can play basketball. He's not going to give it to anybody by playing basketball.

It was the last curling we did and I thought about it all summer. But we worked with a sports psychologist and decided to make some changes. We got some help with strategy by bringing Cathy on and it's been good.

I never thought we could do that. But anything is possible in sports.
