Knowing you're a part of this ... is something.

The best part about it is knowing that we don't have to go back to Atlanta, ... We had some bats out of the lineup and everyone was kind of hoping that we were going to do it with just one swing of the bat. Luckily I was the guy. I am fortunate to have big hits at all levels, but this is very gratifying.

We also played in a round-robin tournament, so both squads had an enjoyable week.

The worst thing about leaving is knowing I can leave this stuff. I will never understand what it is like to be a Palestinian.

Being on the DL and knowing that you are not coming back the rest of the season is not fun at all, ... It was a really tough pill to swallow. Not being able to go on the road trips [stinks]. It's rough.

Confidence is huge. When you go out there knowing you're supposed to win, and everybody's doing their part, that ingredient is irreplaceable.
