Lack of police presence is a concern for me even as a male, as I have had two uncomfortable experiences there this summer running before sunrise to avoid the heat.

My biggest concern is who is going to police it. It's a role I don't want to take on or have my staff take on.

That is clearly a concern, and police chiefs are very uneasy about that possibility. The question is, do we keep our radio cars empty or hire people who a few years ago we wouldn't have hired? It is very problematic.

If anyone knows anything about it, I wish they'd come forward and let the police know so we can put this behind us and get on with our lives.
