Last year at this time we were back in the gym. We had baby goals, but we had one big goal, and this was it. It's a beautiful feeling.

They always say, 'defense wins championships', well, why not have the two best defensive teams in Iowa play in the championship game?

That's the biggest crowd I've played before. I wouldn't have liked blowing them out. I'm glad we gave these people what they wanted to see.

I'm not really worried anymore. It's my senior year and I just play to play. I love playing basketball and there's really no pressure on me. It's not brain surgery or anything like that.

I figure we'd might as well have tests for us to get to state so when we get to state it might be a little easier on us when we face the better teams. I think it's kind of a good thing.

They're a dangerous team. We knew it would be tough.
