Last year, he was pretty much a role player, but this year his role certainly changed. Offensively, we really needed him to score, and ... when he had good games, we did well as a team.

'The Flying Tomato' - that pretty much sums it up. He's pretty much a goofball. It's all about having a good time. He's not too worried about who's who and what's what, or what sponsors are cool. He just lets his riding speak for himself. That's the way it should be.

We played him at the point (guard position), which is not his natural position. But he led us in assists, and he worked hard to get his shot. ... Each year, he has gotten better. He?s got a real good feel for the game. He understands basketball, and he always gives you his best effort.

He plays hard. He had a good season, and he was our guy that we counted on to lead us. I thought he did a heck of a job, really.

I'm disappointed with some of the things that happened. But that's basketball, and those are some of the things that you have to deal with.

We got more aggressive on offense. We started taking the ball to the basket. We were getting better shots, and we were also passing the ball better. We took a lot of quick shots in the first half, a lot of perimeter shots.
