Last year, the third grade did a big paper-making project during the recycling unit. Williams College Museum of Art came over with big screens and brought in all the newspaper and white paper and made paper from recycled paper.

Our presence with the (Williams) students there is not as great just because of the distance and getting the students over there with cars.

Science is difficult for teachers in that if you're going to do hands-on experiments you have to get supplies. There's a lot of organization involved. A lot of times, teachers aren't real comfortable. Maybe they don't have a science background themselves.

It's for a better cause. It's for increasing recycling and getting trash off the side of the road. Anything that can do that, I think, is a good thing.

Recycling old buildings to show art is very important.
