Late in the game they were gassed. I felt that that rotation, and those guys through a good part of the second half, was the best lineup for our team.

They are very efficient in what they do. Bo does a good job of explaining the roles — what guys are expected to do and what they are not expected to do. You can see each guy has a set of rules and limitations. A Mike Wilkinson is different than a Brian Butch.

Personally, it felt good, but this is a team. It's a team game and to do your job is gratifying, to do things to help your team win is gratifying and I was able to do that tonight.

We brought these guys in to do a job. We have to get them into a rotation out there and put them in a position to pitch effectively.

You can never tell if you're going to have a good game like this. I felt like I was able to execute my pitches.

We felt this was a really important game to get off to a good start. But we'll regroup.
