Leaving Boston was not easy. It was a high level of passion to win, a unique rivalry, a baseball operations staff which was a great, great place to work. That's what I need to learn here and need to recreate here.

It's a big rivalry, but this is a smaller scale.

She wanted it a lot. It's an emotional rivalry. She's the leader. She's the one that fires everyone up. She's gonna take it hard.

I played two years in Pawtucket. They have the best fans in baseball. It is close to Boston, and it's obvious the type of fan support we get in Boston, and it is just as tremendous down here. It is one of the best minor league cities in baseball. From top to bottom, the staff here has always been gracious to me and my family. Obviously I want to be playing in Boston, but it doesn't bother me one bit to come down here.

It's noticeable. It's 40,000 [fans] in Boston, standing up in the first inning with two strikes,

I think there are many qualities. One, he's arguably the best defensive second baseman in the game. Two, he brings a great deal of energy to the field. And three, he's also a pretty good offensive player for the position.
