I will miss flying the Tomcat very much. Saying good bye to the Tomcat will be like saying good bye to an old friend, but in the best interest of our people, it must be done.

Saying good bye to a person may be akin to death of either party because,you may never meet physically on this plane again.

Death's in the good-bye.

But, reader, there is no comfort in the word "farewell," even if you say it in French. "Farewell" is a word that,in any language, is full of sorrow. It is a word that promises absolutely nothing.
