Let's find something that gets [the students] thinking, debating. I think there is a place for lecturing, but it can also be boring and laborious.

Students are tired. Teachers are tired. And I think that we were doing just fine with the 175 days.

Just as teachers put together report cards for their students at the end of the term, so do we at the end of the legislative session. We're willing to support any candidate who will stand up for kids and education.

Historically, we've always had students thinking bigger and bigger. It's gone from radio to television to the movie screen, to the era of blockbuster films. All of a sudden, things have reversed and everything is getting smaller.

This demonstrates that Granite School District is committed to thinking outside the box to ensure students have as many educational opportunities as possible. We weren't pleased with the closure, but they have been very open to our proposals and feedback.
