Life is very different in USA than Guatemala. I think the city needs to help people living here to understand the differences.

Our services are designed for practically any living arrangement where an older adult simply needs human interaction or help with day-to-day activities. Services are available from just a few hours a day up to 24 hours, seven days a week -- including weekends and holidays.

This is the first time the city is paying attention to us.

I want to know when we'll be able to move back.

With the help of other people, I give them their basic needs - toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap so they can wash their hands.

These people were really in dire need of help, and we did our best to accommodate their needs, ... If we feel we can make a positive impact, that's where we want to be. ... And we did good.
