Looking at the staircase, I could just see this lady in this grand dress walking down this staircase. It took my breath away.

Everyone wants to stand in the kitchen.

A lady came up to me afterwards and said this is better than our last grand final win in 1971. And I would have to say that I agree.

The world is like a grand staircase, some are going up and some are going down.

For me, walking has become less physical transit than mental transportation. It is engaging. I have become, I fear, a difficult walking companion, liable to slow down and point at things. I can turn this off, but I love to have it on: a sense of wonder that I, and we all, have a predisposition to but have forgotten to enjoy.

That kind of puts you in a good mood, ... When you're walking to the plate like that, you feel like Superman. You feel like, I can't let my people down.
