Mainly we helped people gut out their houses. We had a desire to help and serve the people.

Trolling taps into people's desire to poke fun, make trouble and cause annoyance.

People believe. They believe in the desire of state government to help. They believe that the overwhelming majority of state government employees and elected officials are honest. They believe that a troubled time in the history of our state does not necessarily mean the future is forever clouded.

I think this demonstrates perfectly the creativity and strength of these young people and their desire to help other people in their same situation. This just shows the power of asking people who are involved what needs to be done. ... They are the ones that know.

We got donations from citizens all over who would send a letter expressing their desire to help and a check or a couple dollars in an envelope.

Several of the players have sought out additional help in the off-season and have demonstrated a desire to do very well.
