Man can certainly keep on lying... but he cannot make truth falsehood. He can certainly rebel... but he can accomplish nothing which abolishes the choice of God.

Between falsehood and useless truth there is little difference. As gold which he cannot spend will make no man rich, so knowledge which cannot apply will make no man wise.

Man can certainly flee from God... but he cannot escape him. He can certainly hate God and be hateful to God, but he cannot change into its opposite the eternal love of God which triumphs even in his hate.

Truth triumphs ultimately. It may be overshadowed by falsehood for sometime but ultimately it wins.

That He may manifest the truth of what was true and show the falsehood of what was false, though the guilty disliked.

And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it).
