Marina pitched well. She has two one-hitters this season, but this was her first no-hitter.

It was a win. I think this game will do us some good later on in the season. When our backs are against the wall, we'll know we can still come back and win.

When the season started, (King) was the No. 3 hitter, and I've always been one to have my best hitter in the No. 3 hole. But Edgar Ramirez started off hot, so I moved him to No. 3 and switched Tom to the second hitter. Then we started winning. I figured, why change something that's working?

Beth moved the ball around and kept hitters off their toes. She's pitched very well this season and kept up that pace in Florida. It was a great first day for us, and an exceptional day for Beth and Holly (Currie). We'll get some rest tonight and continue on tomorrow.

It's like they always say, good hitters walk. You get to be a good hitter before you get a lot of walks, that's the way I see it. You take a lot of pitches. You can be smart and selective at the plate, and that helps attribute to walks.
