Mark plays by his own rules. As downtown was faced with competition from the suburbs, Mark has hung in there. He's transformed his business using modern tools. He has a real entrepreneurial spirit.

Being at the academy is a lot of fun for the athletes, but this competition is also an important one for them. This is their regional event, their opportunity to get qualified to compete at state level. Many of them get nervous. The Naval Academy personnel take a lot of the apprehension away, especially when the volunteers get in the water or on the field and participate in the event with the athlete. The athletes really enjoy that.

We want this to be a resource for small businesses that are looking for space. It's really to encourage people to move downtown.

The whole goal of the magazine is to blow people away, to wow people with these great work spaces we have downtown.

The rules of the game remain stacked against the competition.

We need to find out if the European Community rules on competition still apply, or if in Europe, as it is today, governments can influence the market by intervening in business affairs.
