Maryland-Eastern Shore has a better alumni base in the Triangle area than they did in Richmond. Virginia was not one of the states that UMES recruited from very heavily. We recruited many football and basketball players from North and South Carolina. We were excited about the move up there as well.

If you (surveyed) the same area along the Maryland shore, you'd probably double that amount.

There's a document that is by statute in all three jurisdictions-—-Maryland, D.C. and Virginia-—-that can be prepared and executed. A body disposition document gives whoever you choose to make decisions at your funeral. It's legally enforceable and that's the document that everybody should have.

We also notified the larger trucking firms in Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland of the closure.

Yet 90 miles off my shore, closer than from here to Richmond, Virginia, I can't even get a commission to assess whether or not we should do something differently. That is outrageous.

I think enterprise is an area they need to shore up. They've had a lot of change there. And I don't know how you keep the train running when you've got churn throughout the organization like that.
