Matt's so small the defenses kind of overlook him. He kind of disappears out there. But watch him play and you'll swear he thinks he's 6-2, 250.

They have completely new players. We have to play a different team with a whole different strategy.

Anybody who has a name, he wants to play them. He wants to be on the top of the list, that's all. The kid just wants to win.

For me to be a starting running back in the NFL and somebody says that I could play 16 games, but I won't get 1,000 yards, for me I look at it as a slap in the face. That's one of those slaps where I say, 'OK, you can slap me once. But at the end of the season, I want to make sure I'm hitting you back with a powerful punch.'

He looks like he's been playing running back at least a couple years of high school. I knew he was fast, but when he got out there, well ... I knew he was fast.

They're all strong guys. But in our offense, the fullback is the key. If we can keep Matt healthy, that'll open things up for the other two halfbacks (Damien Brown and Channing Powell). I mean, he runs up the middle like a freight train.
