Mike's done a good job. The kids understand what their strengths are, and they execute for the most part.

This is part of the Venture Scouting program for older kids. The Scouts run the program. The adults are there to give them guidelines and resources. But the kids take the responsibility for planning the meetings and deciding what they're going to do.

They're eager, they're good kids, smart kids, and they're nice athletes. That's a good combination to begin with. Coach Hunter did a great job with them. Now they're learning new techniques and new terminology. It was a little difficult at first, but they're fast learners.

Michigan State is the favorite. After that, there's a lump of teams.

We held our poise and found a way to win it.

We made plays at gut-check times.
