Military families on or near base are a captive audience for everyone from used car salesmen to payday lenders.

Ever since the announcement was first made, and we first contacted [Dixon], she has never made any promises. She's been upfront about saying she is willing to listen, willing to consider, but she is not going to lead us on.

The longer we wait to start all that work, the harder it gets.

We do have particular populations that would be particularly interested in this, and we would work with the Advancement Office to identify those populations and contact them.

I hope if nothing else, we can get across the idea that the administration has been wonderful about working with us and listening to us. I really think they care about Truman and about this facility in particular.
