Montanans believe in the right to make a good life for their families. How they define a family should be their business and their business alone. I'm proud to support marriage equality because no one should be able to tell a Montanan or any American who they can love and who they can marry.

Marriage equality changed life for people.

Marriage equality is not a choice. It is a legal right.

She may dance in the street, he may run all night, she may sing in the rain and he may love a man.

For me, marriage should be about partnership. How can you love someone you have to take care of like a child all the time? A wife is supposed to be a partner, and yes partners help each other when they need it, but they are supposed to be together because they want to in my book, not because one needs the other.

It's bittersweet because we're being treated as second-class citizens. It's not full marriage equality.
