More artists need to be diverse in the way they (present) their music. Gwen has been the first major pop artist to really capitalize on it.

It does not mean you come here to present artists' work and neglect local charities; nor do art festivals and exclude working with the children, which are the lifeblood of the community.

It's very exciting. This is my first musical and I'm very proud to present my music from the last 30 years.

For most music fans, it's in their nature to find and enjoy something that's new and exciting. There's nothing more thrilling than hearing a song for the first time and you enjoy it so much that you have to hear it 20 more times.

We present artists that are a part of something larger than themselves. They come representing a community or a heritage. And they see themselves that way. It's not about a bunch of people with big egos. It's about people who are passionate about being keepers of culture and keepers of tradition. And that gives them a special magic because when they're on stage there just aren't barriers between them and the audience. It's a sharing. It's their mission.

We feel like we're part of a legacy in Provincetown. This was like a last stand of artists in town, and we're really creating something unique.
