Never fear growing old; there are many who have never had the privilege

Dreams became issues of East versus West. Hopes became political rhetoric. Progress became a search for power and domination. Somewhere the truth was lost that people don't make war, governments do.

This country was founded and built by people with great dreams and the courage to take great risks. (January 26, 1983)

Let us be shy no longer. Let us go to our strength. Let us offer hope. Let us tell the world that a new age is not only possible but probable.
