Most people don't know we're here--they think of the Salvation Army first.

That really helped because the kids executed. We had a few minutes where we kind of went nutty, then we regained our composure. Being able to settle down and pull out the win, that made a huge statement for them, I think.

The people of the Texarkana area have again demonstrated what teamwork can accomplish, ... They proved that the Red River Army Depot is far too great an asset to the nation to close. This is the result of strong local leadership and an unselfish dedication to a goal.

Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. the supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States.

It's a cliche in the army, but people always say you'll fight as you train, so we're taking our training very seriously and working very hard so we will fight as we train.

There are people all over the place. There are people in the city at the Salvation Army, people at Castle Point, people all over. Where ever they were needed they were there.
