Most women [with ovarian cancer] develop resistance to conventional chemotherapy drugs.

If they put all the MS drugs, and all the cancer drugs, and all the HIV drugs on the same cost-tier plan, they're really not discriminating against one disease group. They're discriminating against anyone who must depend on higher-cost drugs.

Both drugs lower the risk of developing breast cancer by 50%.

There are some exciting new molecular-targeted drugs that are helpful, and we're understanding the molecular biology of lung cancer much better today in helping to design more rational treatments. But unfortunately, the vast majority of people with lung cancer today will die from their disease.

Patients are using natural products either in place of or in conjunction with chemotherapy and we don't know if they work or how they work. There's no good clinical data.

I don't intend for this to take on a political tone. I'm just here for the drugs.
