My biggest dream from the beginning - besides Evanescence - is scoring film and writing music for film.

I did a lot of other things besides scoring the basketball. I got my guys a lot of open looks. I played good defense. I think I had a good all around game, but I attribute a lot of my game to my teammates. The way they pushed me and motivated me to keep playing hard.

It's not just about scoring. I was out there passing the ball and getting steals, doing other things besides scoring.

My darlings, if I can't write dark, epic music, I can't live!

The first step - especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money - the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.

For me, this film marks the real beginning of a critical analysis of Germany's second dictatorship. It's as if it had been taken from my own life.
