My eye was literally pushed out of the socket. The pain was so bad, it was past being a headache. There's no such thing as a headache like that.

I'm more nervous than excited, actually. I felt okay the past couple of days, no pain, no problem. I feel good conditioning-wise and hockey-wise. It's going to take awhile. I'm a little too quick for my hands right now. My hands are not that good.

Leave off sniffing the carcass of your old life-do you enjoy unending pain? There is no shame in walking away from bones. Nor is there any special wisdom in injuring oneself over and over. What is your loyalty to that pain? To abandon it will not lessen you.

All Jay and I did was build a base and establish the importance. Tiger took it from there.

When Tiger was 6 months old, he would sit in our garage, watching me hit balls into a net. He had been assimilating his golf swing. When he got out of the high chair, he had a golf swing.
