My focus will be to put the ball in play, not strike out and move runners. I've always prided myself on being a good production guy. On defense I'll get after it. I'll throw some exciting plays in there.

It was exciting to see how the girls were able to focus and play through during the match, especially since it's so early in the season. Now that we're starting to feel things out and see how good we are we can start working on getting better.

I'm pleased to have stayed on track and I'm maybe a little ahead. I've never focused on moving up to the next level. I've always just played the game and have let it take care of itself.

It's like that everywhere, I'm sure. You have to go out, enjoy yourself and do what you do.

We have a new big-league manager and I want as many looks as I can get. I'll have an opportunity to play in front of the major-league staff. You have to be excited about an opportunity like that. I'll just go out and play and see what happens.
