My freshman year I played all point guard. After that I played four different positions because players got sick or injured. Someone did tell me once they saw me playing center my sophomore year.

We played them two years ago in a regional. [Lewis] was the starting point guard as a freshman, and he was better than anyone we had faced all season. They're an up-and-down-the-court team, and they like to bring pressure. I think the kids know they have to play the game of their lives if we're going to have a chance.

The year before I got there, KU was in the final four. At that time there were only 32 teams in the tournament. So you had to be one of the best to get in. It wasn't like today where the no. 1 seed plays a 16 seed that barely had a .500 season.

Why not? They have a good inside game and their point guard, I know she's only a freshman, but she does a nice job. She's going to be good before it's all done ... sure Penn State can make some noise.

I really enjoyed that. It had been so long. It was 27 years. There were some players from Leavenworth that played football there but not basketball.

We have players who played for the Phantoms last year who do a lot of things really well that are going to help us,
