My house is underwater. We understand that most of the water will be pumped out by the end of the month. I don't know if there's much left to see of my house. I don't know if they are going to rebuild in my area or if they're going to bulldoze it over.

We haven't wanted for anything. God has been good. We have our friends scattered all around, in Shreveport, Virginia, Dallas. Everyone's safe.

We have underwater cameras, sidescan sonar in use there. Water rescue teams have divers down. As you get down underwater, the visibility gets very reduced so it's difficult to locate somebody,

There's a multitude of ways we can go with this, but it ultimately will come to a judge. It's unfortunate that this happened.... Obviously there will be no resolution today.

I am and always will be a law enforcement officer first and foremost. I am not a politician. As sheriff, my first responsibility is to protect the citizens of Macoupin County. I have spent my entire career helping to build the Macoupin County Sheriff's Department and I have always taken pride in the department and its employees.

He's like God north of the border. And I know he will be big south of the border.
