My kids played steady basketball and Summerville's a tough place to win. They did what they had to do to win.

They played hard. They always play hard. They don't quit and they're a pleasure to coach.

That game right there is how basketball should be played.

I'm happy with the kids' effort. We played with emotion and purpose. We want to win, but we can live with this. I feel this is the first time (this season) we've taken a step forward. We walk away disappointed with the loss, but we're not distraught. We'll have plenty of opportunities the rest of the way to keep getting better.

They were disappointed. To come that close and not get the win was tough.

We played well and it was nice to get a third win on the trot.
