My life is different than it ever was before.

Life is short. If I didn't have the defibrillator, I would have been dead at the Christmas party three years ago. How lucky am I?

We're supposed to be taking care of everyone else.

Here's the thing about needs and wants...when you want something bad enough, it becomes a necessity. Not because you literally need it to survive; life will go on either way, but because life just doesn't seem complete without it.

Sometimes all it takes to change a life is to decide which beliefs do not serve you and to literally change your mind about those beliefs.

It was nice to go up to a group of girls and say, 'I need this out of you,' and they delivered. They worked for it today.
