My theory is that there's a knee-jerk reaction against technology in movie making.

It's a juggernaut, yeah... but I'm not phased by making movies.

You can't please everyone... If you make a good movie, that's all that matters.

I like the idea of making big budget films with a heart. I like graphic novels more than comic books.

With today's technology, a new refinery could be really clean - far cleaner than today's refineries - in theory.

Only those who are behind in technology want that. But a lot of things that sound good in theory unfortunately don't work in the real world. Just look at Communism. Everyone's equal but no one works to get ahead.
