My work revolves around rivers. I use Geographical Information Systems technology to create maps of river networks ? technology commonly used in the social and physical sciences.

The information age is so psychotic – without the cell phone and Internet, I would be drama free right now.

As information technology restructures the work situation, it abstracts thought from action.

It is because I am not using the analytical processes of science to examine the world as it is. I am using scientific data to imagine the world as it could be. I am making maps of possibility.

I loved the coaches, the area and the team. They've gotten in some good recruits lately. I think (the program) is right on the edge of taking off.

Technology just means information technology.
