Neither, I must say with all due respect, is it the power of teachers and students. Basically the true and real power is with working people of all colors, of all beliefs, of all national origins.

We are not going to see the true colors of people until they come into power. Obviously there are people in the regime who are more business-minded and pragmatic. But you can't be open about having a moderate position. Any general who says 'I like dialogue' is basically someone who has a death wish.

When you have real power you don't threaten. People know what your capabilities are.

There will always be a place for us somewhere, somehow, as long as we see to it that working people fight for everything they have, everything they hope to get, for dignity, equality, democracy, to oppose war and to bring to the world a better life.

There's a real power in heels and a good dress.

The only power they have is by the respect that the people have for them, and if people lose that respect they have nothing.
